Abstract： Objective： To observe the curative effect of external application of compound fresh herbal medicines for ulcerated cancer wounds. Methods：A total of 60 cases of patients with ulcerated cancer wounds were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method，30 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing and external application of aloe，and the observation group was given routine nursing combined with external application of compound fresh herbal medicines. The changes in wound healing areas of ulcerated cancer wounds，Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) scores，odor scores，survival time and quality of life in the two groups were observed. Results：After nursing，the wound healing areas of ulcerated cancer wounds and VAS scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group，and the odor scores and survival time were higher，differences being significant(P＜0.05). After nursing of one，two，three and five weeks，the QLQ-C30 scores in the observation group were lower than those at the same time point in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：External application of compound fresh herbal medicines can promote the healing of ulcerated cancer wounds，reduce pain and odor of pains and improve survival time and quality of life of patients.
