By analyzing name，etiology and clinical manifestations of lupus nephritis，the authors proposed the idea of treatment that consolidating the source of origin and detoxification and removing stasis at first，then reconciling yin and yang and adjusting emotions，and paying equal attention to Chinese and western medicine，enclosed with clinical cases to justify，so as to provide thoughts of treating lupus nephritis.
