Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Yinzhen pills combined with cetirizine hydrochloride tablets for chronic urticaria.Methods：Divided 120 cases of patients with chronic urticaria into the control group and the treatment group randomly， 60 cases in each group.The control group received cetirizine hydrochloride tablets for treatment， while the treatment group additionally received Yinzhen pills.The two groups received treatment for two courses，two weeks being a course.Recorded the scores ofmain symptoms in the two groups before treatment and on the second and fourth week after treatment， and evaluated the clinical effect after treatment.Results： On the second and fourth week after treatment，symptoms scores in the two groups were obviously decreased when compared with those before treatment(P ＜ 0.01)；the decrease of scores in the treatment group was more obvious than that in the controlgroup at the same period( P ＜0.01).The totaleffective rate was 93.3%in the treatment group and was 70.0%in the controlgroup，the difference being significant( P ＜0.01).On the firstmonth of follow-up，the recurrence rate was 3.4%in the treatment group and was 19.2%in the control group，the difference being significant( P ＜ 0.05).No obvious adverse reaction was found in the two groups.Conclusion：The curative effect of therapy of Yinzhen pills combined with cetirizine hydrochloride tablets for chronic urticaria is better than that ofwesternmedicine，which is worthy of promotion and application in clinicalpractice.
