Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Jintiange capsules for postoperative healing of senile osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures. Methods: A total of 86 cases of patients with senile osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures were randomly divided into the control group and the study group,43 cases in each group. Both groups were given internal fixation for fracture reduction;after surgery, the control group was given oral administration of Caltrate 600+D3,and the study group was treated with Jintiange capsules. The clinical effect, changes in bone mineral density, and adverse reactions in the two groups were observed and compared. Results:The total effective rate was 97.67% in the study group and 83.73% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the bone mineral density in the two groups was increased when compared with that before treatment(P<0.05), and the density in the study group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 2.33% in the study group and 9.30% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Jintiange capsules for senile osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral compression fractures has definite curative effect and can effectively improve bone mineral density, whose effect is better than that of Caltrate 600+D3.
