Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Weisu granules assisting quadruple chemotherapy of bismuth magnesium for helicobacter pylori(Hp) - positive peptic ulcers. Methods: A total of 100 cases of patients with Hp- positive peptic ulcers were divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with quadruple chemotherapy of bismuth magnesium, and the study group was assisting with Weisu granules based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects, the ulcer healing rates, and the eradication rates and recurrence rates of Hp in the two groups were compared. The pathological scores of gastrointestinal mucosa tissues and the inflammatory factors in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, the clinical total effective rate was 94.00% in the study group, higher than that of 72.00% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of inflammatory activity, mucosa inflammation, epithelial metaplasia and gland reduction as well as the levels of procalcitonin(PCT) and high- sensitivity C- reactive protein(hs- CRP) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the above indexes in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the ulcer healing rate and the eradication rate of Hp in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the one- year recurrence rate was lower(P<0.05). Conclusion:Weisu granules assisting quadruple chemotherapy of bismuth magnesium for Hp- positive peptic ulcers can effectively improve the lesions and inflammatory responses of gastrointestinal mucosa tissues, the ulcer healing rate and the eradication rate of Hp,with a significant clinical effect.
