Clinical and Experimental Research Progress of Oral Administration of Chinese Herbal Medicine Preventing Postoperative Recurrence and Metastasis of Triple Negative Breast Cancer
Abstract:Triple negative breast cancer(TNBC) is a high-risk breast cancer and is apt to recur and metastasize with poor prognosis, which is now a hot and difficult topic in the field of breast cancer research. Although there have been a lot of studies on the molecular mechanism of TNBC and related drugs have been used in clinical practice, there are problems of high cost and little effect for patients. As a method to prevent postoperative recurrence and metastasis, oral administration of chemotherapeutic drugs is limited in clinical application due to its side effect. As a means to prevent postoperative recurrence and metastasis of TNBC, Chinese herbal medicine has certain advantages, and its effect and mechanism are worthy of systematic study. The clinical control studies on the prevention of postoperative recurrence and metastasis of TNBC by oral administration of Chinese herbal medicine in recent years was reviewed, and the experimental studies of Chinese patent medicine,Chinese medicine monomers and Chinese herbal compounds used for TNBC were summarized,so as to explore the effect and mechanism of Chinese herbal medicine in preventing postoperative recurrence and metastasis of TNBC,which is conducive to further well-directed research.
