Current main trend of the study on meridian tendons disease is combining with biomechanics and modern physiological anatomy，but opinions diverse in the academic system construction of physiology，etiology，pathogenesis and diagnosis of the meridian tendons.Based on the theories of Zhuang medicine and principles of biomechanics，the authors make a further discussion of the etiology，pathogenesis and therapeutic mechanism so as to provide the theoretical basis for the clinical application of the theory of meridian tendons in Zhuang medicine.
