Knee osteoarthritis(KOA)is a kind of disease mainly based on degenerative change of knee joint， and the clinical syndrome differentiation of KOA in the middle-aged and elderly people is mainly based on kidney deficiency and blood stasis type.The therapy of Chinese medicine of reinforcing kidney and activating blood in treating KOA of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type has a significant clinical effect.The authors reviewed the literature in recent years and summarized the clinical application of Chinese medicine of reinforcing kidney and activating blood and its combination treatment with other therapies in treating KOA，so as to provide references for the prescription selection and medication of treating KOA.
