Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Xiaoying Wuhai pills combined with thiamazole tablets for Graves disease.Methods：Divided 60 cases of patients with Graves disease into the experiment group and the control group according to randomnumber table method，30 cases in each group.The two groups received thia mazole tablets for treatment，while the experiment group additionally received Xiaoying Wuhaipills based on the treatment of the controlgroup.The treatment of the two groups lasted for fourweeks.Compared and analyzed the clinicalsymptoms，body signs and thyroid hormone in serumof patients in the two groups before and after treatment.Results：The total effective rate was 96.7%in the experiment group and was 90.0%in the control group，there being no significance in the difference(P＞0.05).After treatment，the improvement of goiter in the control group was not obvious(P ＞ 0.05)，while the improvement of goiter was obvious in the experiment group( P ＜0.05).The improvement of goiter in the experiment group was better than that in the control group(P ＜ 0.05).After treatment，levels of serumtotal triiodothyronine(TT 3 )，total thyroxine(TT 4 )，free triiodothyronine(FT 3 )and free thyroxine(FT 4 )in the two groups were all decreased when compared with those before treatment(P ＜ 0.05)，and the level of thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH)in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P ＜ 0.05).The decrease of levels of TT 3 ，TT 4 ，FT 3 and FT 4 in the experiment group was more obvious than that in the control group( P ＜0.05)and the increase of TSH levelwas more obvious than that in the control group( P ＜0.05).Conclusion：The therapy of Xiaoying Wuhai pills combined with thiamazole tablets for Graves disease can effectively improve symptoms and body signs of patients，and improve the clinicaleffect.
