Objective：To observe the effect of the therapy of borneol-musk liquid plus oxygen through the nasal inhalation combined with acupuncture on the nerve function and quality of life of patients with ischemic stroke.Methods：Divided 60 cases of patient with ischemic stroke into the control group and the treatment group randomly，30 cases in each group.The controlgroup received routine treatment，while the treatment group was additionally given the therapy of borneol-musk liquid plus oxygen through the nasal inhalation based on the treatment of the control group.Observed the improvement of nerve function and quality of life of patients.Results：Before treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparisons of scores of national institute of health stroke scale(NIHSS)and Barthel indexes(BI)between the two groups(P＞0.05).On the 14 th and 28 th day of treatment，scores of NIHSS in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and scores of BIwere increased，differences being significant(P ＜ 0.05).During the same stage，the score of NIHSS in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group and the score of BIwas higher，differences being significant( P ＜0.05).Conclusion：The therapy of borneol-musk liquid plus oxygen through the nasal inhalation combined with acupuncture for ischemic stroke can effectively improve the nerve function and quality of life of patients.
