Objective：To analyze the clinical administration rules in the treatment of chronic renal failure(CRF)in early and middle stages by FU Xiaojun based on Chinese medicine inheritance platform system(V2.5).Methods：Established a database of prescription for CRF in the early and middle stages，and used various data mining methods in the softw are to conduct statistics and analysis on the administration rules in 594 prescriptions.Results：There were 53 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines that had been used more than 50 times.In term s of the four natures of Chinese herbalmedicines，those used were mainly w arm，neutral and cold(92%).In term s of the five flavors，those m ainly were sw eet，bitter and acrid(93%).In term s of the channel entry，those associated with the spleen， liver and kidney were m ajority(51%)， follow ed by those associated with the lung， stom ach and heart(34%).The core Chinese herbal medicine group included Radix Astragali，Rhizom a Atractylodis Macrocephalae， Herba Epimedii， Radix et Rhizom a Salviae Miltiorrhizae， Radix et Rhizom a Rhei，Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae，Rhizom a Smilacis Glabrae，Rhizom a Polygonati，Semen Persicae，Herba Centellae，Poria，Rhizom a Chuanxiong， Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum， Radix Pseudostellariae and Rhizoma Curculiginis.Three new com binations were obtained by the entropy cluster analysis：(1)Herba Serissae，Rhizom a Curcum ae，Herba Salviae Chinensis and Semen Juglandis； (2)Rhizom a Polygonati， Radix et Rhizom a Rhei， Herba Epimedii， Herba Taxilli， Radix Achyranthis Bidentatae，Cortex Eucommiae and Radix et Rhizom a Asari；(3)Polyporus，Cortex Mori，Cutis Poriae，Pericarpium Arecae，Poria，Rhizom a Alism atis，Rhizom a Dioscoreae and Cortex Moutan.Conclusion：This research uses the softw are of Chinese medicine inheritance platform system to analyze the administration rules of Professor Fu's prescription for CRF in the early andmiddle stages，whose analysis result not only can comprehensively and objectively summ arize the administration rules of experienced practitioners，but can also be used to guide the young practitioners in clinicaldiagnosis and treatment.
