Breast cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors in women，seriously threatening their physical and mental health，and even endangering their lives.This paper reviews the literature on the treatment for breast cancer by Chinese medicine in recent years，and probes into the unique advantages of Chinese medicine for breast cancer from the perspectives of the origin of the disease name，etiology，pathogenesis and treatment by Chinese medicine.
