To analyze Professor LIU Wenfeng's administration rules of treating diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN).Methods：Professor LIU Wenfeng's clinically proved prescriptions for DPN from January 2016 to December 2017 were screened，and were inputted into Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System V2.5.His administration rules were analyzed by applying data mining methods，such as apriori algorithm for association rules and complex system entropy clustering.Results：A total of 145 samples of treating DPN were collected，among which there were 20 kinds of highfrequency Chinese herbal medicine，17 high-frequency medicine combinations，11 combination based on association rules；12 core medicine combinations and 6 new prescriptions were identified.Conclusion：With the help of TraditionalChinese Medicine Inheritance Support System V2.5，this study systematically sorted out LIU Wenfeng's administration rules of treating DPN，which provides an effective way for inheriting his academic thoughts and an important reference for clinical treatment of DPN.
