Complex regional pain syndrome(CRPS)is a common complication in stroke.The main symptoms of post-stroke CRPS type I encompass hand edema,and the long-term hand edema may lead to pain and stiffness,severely hindering the recovery of hand function.By reviewing the relevant literature at home and abroad in recent years,the authors found that the main treatment methods for treating hand edema in post-stroke CRPS type I includes medication treatment in western medicine,rehabilitation therapy,surgical interventions and Chinese medicine treatment,which provides reference for the clinical treatment of hand edema in post-stroke CRPS type I.
