Cerebellar atrophy， a type of rare neurological diseases clinically characterized by gait abnormality and dysarthria，severely affects or even threatens the life of patients whether it is primary or secondary.The authors retrieved and reviewed the relevant literature on clinical experiences of different acupuncture methods for cerebellar atrophy in such databases as CNKI，Wanfang and Pubmed from 2008 to 2018.It has been found that there are a variety of acupuncture methods for cerebellar atrophy which have exact therapeutic effect in improving such clinical symptoms as ataxia and dysarthria induced by cerebellar atrophy.
