To observe the clinical effect of Chinese medicine iontophoresis combined with acupoint application for bronchial asthma during attack stage on the basis of routine western medicine.Methods：Divided 90 cases of patients with cold asthma syndrome during bronchial asthma attack stage randomly into the control group and the observation group，with 45 cases in each group.Both groups were treated with salmeterol and ticasone powder inhalation.The observation group was treated with Chinese medicine iontophoresis combined with acupoint application.Both groups were observed continuously for 14 days.Recorded the remission time of wheezing，shortness of breath，cough and chest tightness.Performed asthma control test after treatment.Evaluated the scores of symptoms and physical signs before and after treatment，and detected the forced expiratory volume in one second to forced vital capacity ratio(FEV1%)and the day-night volatility of peak expiratory flow(PEF).Results：After treatment，the effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P ＜ 0.05)；the remission time of shortness of breath，cough and chest tightness was shorter than that of the control group(P ＜ 0.05)；and the control of asthma was better than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The FEV1%of the two groups were higher than those before treatment(P ＜ 0.01)，and the day-night volatility of PEF and the scores of symptoms and physical signs were lower than those before treatment(P＜0.01).The FEV1%of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.01)，and the day-night volatility of PEF and the scores of symptoms and physical signs were lower than those of the control group(P ＜ 0.01).Conclusion：On the basis of routine western medicine，the application of Chinese medicine iontophoresis and acupoint application for patients with bronchial asthma and cold asthma syndrome during attack stage can reduce the clinical symptoms of asthma，control the asthma attack，shorten the course of disease and improve lung function more quickly and effectively.
