Objective：To discuss the clinical effect of Duhuo Jisheng tang for knee osteoarthritis.Methods：A total of 150 cases of patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into two groups，75 cases in each group.The control group was given diclofenac sodium extended-release tablets，and the treatment group was additionally treated with Duhuo Jisheng tang based on the treatment of the control group.The clinical effect and other related indexes in the two groups were compared and analyzed.Results：The total effective rate was 77.33% in the control group and 92.00% in the treatment group，the difference being significant(P＜ 0.05).After treatment，the scores of pain in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P ＜ 0.05)，the difference between the two groups after treatment being significant(P＜ 0.05).After treatment，the levels of matrix metalloproteinase-1(MMP-1)and interleukin-6(IL-6)in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P ＜ 0.05)，the difference between the two groups after treatment being significant(P＜0.05).In the control group，there were nine cases of adverse reactions including four cases of abdominal pain，two abdominal distension and three poor appetite，which accounting for 12.00% of the total；in the treatment group，there was two cases of abdominal distension，accounting for 2.67% of the total，the difference being significant(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion： Duhuo Jisheng tang has definite clinical effect in treating knee osteoarthritis， which can relieve clinical symptoms and reduce adverse reactions.
