Objective: To observe the clinical effect of self-made spinal fixed-point rotating chair combined with electroacupuncture therapy for lumbar disc herniation. Methods:Enrolled 120 cases of patients with lumbar disc herniation and divided them into two groups randomly, with 60 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with chiropractic care by sitting upright on the spinal fixed-point rotating chair and then combined it with electroacupuncture therapy, while the control group was only given electroacupuncture therapy. Both groups were treated for two weeks and followed up for six months to two years.Evaluated the pain of back by Numerical Rating Scale(NRS)before and after treatment. The clinical effcet in the two groups was compared. Results: After two weeks of treatment, the total effective rate was 86.7% in the treatment group and 55.0% in the control group, and compared the two groups, difference being significant(P< 0.01).The pain in the two groups was improved when compared with that before treatment and the improvement in the treatment group was better than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of self-made spinal fixed-point rotating chair combined with electroacupuncture therapy for lumbar disc herniation can restore the normal anatomical structure of the spine and effectively relieve local muscle fatigue and pain, which has definite clinical effect.
