Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Shenling Baizhu powder combined with Jin'gui Shenqi pills for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at stable stage. Methods：A total of 60 cases of patients were randomly divided into two groups， 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with routine western medicine， and the observation group was additionally treated with modified Shenling Baizhu powder combined with Jin'gui Shenqi pills based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two courses， four weeks being a course. The changes of Chinese medicine syndrome scores， lung function， six- minute walking distances and Borg dyspnea scores in the two groups were observed and compared. Results： After treatment， the lung function， Chinese medicine syndrome scores， six- minute walking distances and Borg dyspnea scores in the two groups were all improved，and the improvement in the observation group was better than that in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Shenling Baizhu powder combined with Jin'gui Shenqi pills for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease at stable stage can effectively relieve the symptoms and improve the clinical effect.
