Abstract：Summarizes the characteristics of Shaoyang disease and the pathogenesis of externally- contracted cough in Chinese medicine and discusses the relationship between its characteristics and pathogenesis. In this paper，Xiaochaihu tang has been adopted for its treatment，which has achieved certain clinical effect.
