Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of modified Bazhen tang and Huaji pills combined with hepatic artery chemoembolization on the middle- to- advanced primary liver cancer. Methods: A total of 90 patients with middle-to-advanced primary liver cancer were selected and divided into the conventional group and the study group according to random number table method,45 cases in each group. The conventional group was treated with hepatic artery chemoembolization, and the study group was additionally treated with the modified Bazhen tang and Huaji pills based on the treatment of the conventional group. The clinical effect in the two groups was compared, and the scores of quality of life and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared before and after treatment. Results:The total effective rate was 53.33% in the study group, higher than that of 31.11% in the conventional group(P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of psychological ability, social relationship, physiological function and material life in the two groups were all increased when compared with those before treatment, and the above scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was 8.89%,lower than that of 24.44% in the conventional group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of modified Bazhen tang and Huaji pills combined with hepatic artery chemoembolization can improve the clinical effect, effectively improve the quality of life of patients and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions.
