Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Xianyimucao capsules combined with Wujia Shenghua capsules on prolonged lochia after cesarean section. Methods： A total of 126 cases of women with prolonged lochia after cesarean section were selected and divided into the control group(62 cases) and the observation group(64 cases) according to random number table method. The control group was treated with Wujia Shenghua capsules， while the observation group was treated with Xianyimucao capsules combined with Wujia Shenghua capsules. After treatment， the excretion time of lochia，the size of three dimensions of uterus and the incidence of endometrium abnormality and uterine hemorrhage were compared between the two groups， and the changes of Chinese medicine syndrome scores were observed before and after treatment. Results： The duration of lochia in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.01)，and the size of three dimensions of uterus was greater than that in the control group(P＜0.01). After treatment，the incidence of endometrial abnormality and uterine hemorrhage in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of complexion，blood color，amount of vaginal bleeding and lowerabdominal pain in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.01)， and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.01). Conclusion：The therapy of Xianyimucao capsules combined with Wujia Shenghua capsules can shorten the duration of lochia， promote uterine repair and improve clinical symptoms.
