Abstract：Based on the structural theory of internal yang and external yin，discussing Fuyang Yiyin method and Ganwen Chure method in treating fever due to internal damage from the aspects of concept connotation，pathogenesis，symptoms and treatment principles，comparing the differences and similarities of these two commonly-used methods. It is found that Fuyang Yiyin method mainly deals with fever due to internal damage of yang deficiency type，and Ganwen Chure method is mainly used for fever due to internal damage of qi deficiency type.
