Objective：To observe the curative effect of compound Xiaoyepipa tablets for children with upper respiratory tract infection and febrile convulsion.Methods：Selected 38 cases of children patients diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection and febrile convulsion who were enrolled in the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University from July in 2016 to July in 2018.The observation group was given the compound Xiaoyepipa tablets which were the nosocomial preparations in the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University and combined it with Yanhuning injection，while the control group was given Yanhuning injection， Lanqin oral liquid and oseltamivir particles； observed and compared the curative effect in the two groups.Results：Both groups were effective after treatment and compared with the control group，the remission time of clinical sign indexes including obvious effective rate，cough alleviation，disappearance of phlegm sound in throat，normality of tongue proper，recovery of three passes of fingerprint and normality of stool and urine，the decreasing degree of body temperature after 7 days of treatment，the disappearance time of lung auscultation dry and moist rales during treatment and the decreasing time of the detection value of leukocytes and neutrophils in the blood biochemistry before and after the treatment in the observation group were all better，differences being significant(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion：The application of compound Xiaoyepipa tablets combined with Yanhuning injection for children with upper respiratory tract infection and febrile convulsion in acute stage has good clinical effect and it can better avoid the injury caused by overuse of drugs，which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
