Objective：To observe the clinical effect of method of removing dampness and discharging stone combined with western medicine for renal colic.Methods：Studied the clinical data of 88 cases of patients with renal colic and divided them into the control group and the observation group according to the randomized principle，with 44 cases in each group.The control group received the routine western medicine treatment and the observation group received the routine western medicine treatment combined with Chinese medicine treatment on method of removing dampness and discharging stone.Observed the curative effect in the two groups and recorded and compared the pain scores and the discharging time of calculus of patients in the two groups after treatment.Results：The total effective rate was 93.18% in the observation group and 75.00% in the control group.Compared the two groups，difference being significant(P＜0.05).The pain scores and the discharging time of urinary calculi in the observation group were shortened when compared with those in the control group and there was significant difference being found in the comparison between two groups(P＜0.05).No adverse reactions being found in the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion：The application of integrated Chinese and western medicine for renal colic has evident clinical effect，which can promote the stone discharge and effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients.
