Objective：To discuss the effect of osteoking combined with shock wave on joint function in senile patients with acute attack of femoral head necrosis and its curative effect.Methods：A total of 94 cases of senile patients with acute attack of femoral head necrosis were divided into the control group and the experiment group according to their visiting sequence，43 and 51 cases in each group respectively.The control group was treated with shock wave，and the experiment group was additionally treated with osteoking based on the treatment of the control group.Before treatment and six months after treatment，the Harris hip scores and the excellent and good rates of recovery of hip function in the two groups were observed.Results：Before treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of Harris hip scores in the two groups(P ＞ 0.05).Six months after treatment，the Harris hip scores in the two groups were increased，the difference being significant(P＜0.05).The excellent and good rate was 55.81% in the control group and 80.39% in the experiment group，the difference being significant(P＜ 0.05).Conclusion：The therapy of osteoking combined with shock wave can effectively increase Harris hip scores of senile patients with acute attack of femoral head necrosis，and improve the excellent and good rate of the recovery of hip function.
