Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Chinese medicine nursing combined with rehabilitation training for patients undergoing tracheotomy. Methods:Selected 80 cases of patients who were hospitalized and undergoing tracheotomy, and divided them into the control group and the observation group according to different nursing methods,40 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatment and nursing, while the observation group additionally received rehabilitation training combined with Chinese medicine nursing. The observation lasted for 6 weeks.Recorded the number of patients with pulmonary infection in both groups, evaluated the therapeutic effect of symptoms in respiratory system and symptom scores in both groups before and after treatment, and statistically analyze the success rate of extubation. Results: The pulmonary infection rate was 2.5% in the observation group and 17.5% in the control group, difference being significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of symptoms in respiratory system was 92.5% in the observation group and 62.5% in the control group, difference being significant(P < 0.05).After treatment, scores of such symptoms in respiratory system as cough, wheezing, distention and fullness in chest and expectoration in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P< 0.05);each score above in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P < 0.05).The success rate of extubation was 67.5% in the observation group and 42.5% in the control group, difference being significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: During treatment, the application of rehabilitation training combined with Chinese medicine nursing after tracheotomy can well improve the symptoms in respiratory system, accelerate recovery, reduce the incidence of pulmonary infection and promote the success rate of extubation.
