Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Bushen Yuzi prescription combined with clomiphene citrate for ovulatory dysfunction infertility of kidney yang deficiency type. Methods： A total of 60 cases of patients with ovulatory dysfunction infertility of kidney yang deficiency type were selected and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method， 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with clomiphene citrate capsules，and the study group was additionally treated with Bushen Yuzi prescription based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for three months. Before and after treatment， the Chinese medicine syndrome scores，endometrial thickness，the number of mature follicles，and diameter of dominant follicles in the two groups were compared； the biochemical pregnancy rate and clinical pregnancy rate in the two groups were recorded. Results： After treatment，the scores of cold pain in waist and knees，burnout and hypodynamia，aversion to cold and cold limbs as well as dizziness and tinnitus in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the scores of the above four Chinese medicine syndromes in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the endometrial thickness，the number of mature follicles and the diameter of dominant follicles in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the increase in the study group was more significant than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the biochemical pregnancy rate and clinical pregnancy rate in the study group were higher than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Bushen Yuzi prescription combined with clomiphene citrate for ovulatory dysfunction infertility of kidney yang deficiency type can improve the Chinese medicine syndromes of patients，promote the recovery of the endometrium and ovulation function，and enhance the pregnancy rate.
