Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Yishen Yangxue Tongqiao tang combined with western medicine for nervous tinnitus. Methods：A total of 78 cases of patients with nervous tinnitus were divided into two groups according to the random number table method，39 cases in each group. The control group was given mecobalamin injection，and the observation group was additionally given Yishen Yangxue Tongqiao tang based on the treatment of the control group. Before and after treatment， hemorheology indexes， Chinese medicine syndrome scores， and the scores of Tinnitus Handicap Inventory(THI) and tinnitus severity in the two groups were compared. Results：Before treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of each hemorheology index between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment， hemorheology indexes in the two groups were improved when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05). After treatment，hemorheology indexes in the observation group were decreased when compared with those in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Before treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of each Chinese medicine syndrome score between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were improved when compared with those before treatment. After treatment，Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the observation group were significantly decreased when compared with those in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Before treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the scores of THI and tinnitus severity between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，the scores of THI and tinnitus severity in the two groups were improved when compared with those before treatment and the scores of THI and tinnitus severity in the observation group were decreased when compared with those in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Yishen Yangxue Tongqiao tang combined with western medicine has significant clinical effect in the treatment of nervous tinnitus， which can effectively improve blood flow velocity， relieve symptoms of tinnitus，and improve hearing of patients.
