Abstract： Objective： To explore the influence of position improvement combined with Chinese medicine nursing on satisfaction rate and compliance of patients with gynecological tumors treated by peripherally inserted contral venous catheters (PICC) catheterization. Methods：A total of 85 cases of patients with gynecologic tumors treated by PICC catheterization were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，42 and 43 cases in each group respectively. The control group was given routine nursing by PICC catheterization，and the observation group was additionally given position improvement and Chinese medicine nursing based on the treatment of the control group. After nursing，the nursing quality，satisfaction rates，compliance，incidences of complications and quality of life in the two groups were compared. Results： After nursing， personnel quality， condition observation， health guidance， service attitude， service items and nursing satisfaction rate in the observation group were better than those in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After nursing，the compliance in following medication order，paying attention to diet， rational exercise and self-detection in the observation group was higher than that in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After nursing，the incidence of complications and the score of quality of life in the observation group were better than those in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Position improvement combined with Chinese medicine nursing can effectively enhance the satisfaction rate and compliance of patients with gynecological tumors treated by PICC catheterization，reduce the incidence of complications of PICC catheterization，and improve the quality of life.
