Abstract：Objective：To observe the effect of body acupuncture and auricular acupoint pressing with beans combined with routine western medicine for ventricular arrhythmia. Methods：A total of 108 cases of patients with ventricular arrhythmia were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group，54 cases in each group. The control group was given amiodarone hydrochloride tablets，and sotalol hydrochloride tablets as appropriate. The observation group was additionally given body acupuncture and auricular acupoint pressing with beans based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for four weeks and given corresponding nursing measures. Before and after treatment， the heart rate， PR interval， QTc interval， Turbulence Onset(TO)， Turbulence Slope(TS) as well as the occurrence of ventricular premature， ventricular tachycardia，ventricular flutter and ventricular fibrillation were recorded by electrocardiogram and 24-hour dynamic electrocardiogram；the scores of symptoms were evaluated. The nursing satisfaction was evaluated when discharge. The clinical effect was compared between the two groups. Results：After treatment，the clinical effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05). When compared with those before treatment，in both groups，the heart rate， TO and symptom scores were decreased， QTc interval shortened， PR interval prolonged， and TS increased， differences being significant(P＜0.01). When compared with those in the control group，in the observation group，the heart rate， TO and symptom scores were lower， PR interval longer， QTc interval shorter， and TS higher， differences being significant(P＜0.01). The nursing satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Based on routine western medicine，the additional therapy of body acupuncture and auricular acupoint pressing with beans can better control abnormal ventricular rate，improve heart rate turbulence，and enhance the clinical effect and nursing satisfaction.
