Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Shenling Baizhu powder combined with Lysine Inosite- Vitamin B12 oral solution and Xiao'er Xiaoshi granules for anorexia in children. Methods： A total of 96 children with anorexia were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method，48 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with Xiao'er Xiaoshi granules and Lysine Inosite-Vitamin B12 oral solution，and the observation group was additionally treated with Shenling Baizhu powder. Both groups were treated for one month. Before and after treatment， the Chinese medicine syndrome scores were evaluated； the changes of clinical symptoms and the occurrence of adverse reactions were observed， and the clinical effect in the two groups was compared. Results： After treatment， the total effective rate was 97.92% in the observation group and 75.00% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The scores of spleen deficiency，food stagnation，phlegm turbidity，qi stagnation and dampnessheat were all decreased in the two groups when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above five scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). In the two groups， the symptoms including food refusal，body mass reduction，constipation and indirect abdominal pain were all improved when compared with those before treatment， and the improvement of the above four symptoms in the observation group was better than that in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05).No adverse reactions such as allergic reactions and gastrointestinal reactions occurred during the treatment. Conclusion：The therapy of Shenling Baizhu powder combined with Lysine Inosite- Vitamin B12 oral solution and Xiao'er Xiaoshi granules has accurate therapeutic effect in treating children with anorexia，which can significantly improve the clinical symptoms and increase their appetite and food intake with great safety.
