Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Xiao'er Feire Kechuan granules combined with cefoxitin injection for bronchopneumonia in children. Methods：A total of 90 children with bronchopneumonia were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group， 45 cases in each groups. The control group was treated with cefoxidine，and the observation group was additionally treated with Xiao'er Feire Kechuan granules based on the treatment of the control group. The treatment time and the therapeutic effect of Chinese medicine syndromes in the two groups were observed. Results：The treatment time of fever，cough and lung rales in the observation group were shorter than that in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The recovery rate was 84.4% in the observation group，significantly higher than that of 60.0% in the control group； the total effective rate was 95.5% in the observation group， significantly higher than that of 80.0% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Xiao'er Feire Kechuan granules combined with cefoxitin injection has better therapeutic effect than cefoxitin injection alone in treating children with bronchopneumonia.
