Abstract:Objective:To discuss the effect of standardized nursing on quality of life in patients with severe tuberculosis. Methods:A total of 63 cases of patients with severe tuberculosis were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, 31 and 32 cases in each group respectively. Both groups were given routine basic nursing, and the observation group was additionally given standardized nursing intervention of integrated Chinese and western medicine therapy according to patients' specific condition. The hospitalization time was recorded. The self- made nursing satisfaction evaluation table was applied to investigate the two groups of patients or their families, and SF-36 scale was used to evaluate their quality of life. The observation time nodes were admission, discharge and follow- up for six months. Results: The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). The hospitalization time in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.01),and the nursing satisfaction was higher(P<0.01). When discharge, the scores of physiological function(PF),role physical(RP),global health(GH),vitality (VT) and mental health(MH) in the two groups were significantly increased when compared with those during admission(P< 0.05);after follow-up for six months, the scores of PF,RP,GH,VT,society function(SF),emotional effect(RE) and MH in the two groups were increased when compared with those during admission(P<0.05);when discharge, the scores of RP and GH in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);after follow-up for six months, the scores of PF, RP, GH and MH were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Standardized nursing intervention of integrated Chinese and western medicine therapy can effectively improve quality of life and clinical effect of patients with severe tuberculosis, and provide them with better and faster recovery.
