Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of heart-protecting musk pills on senile patients with coronary heart disease after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). Methods: A total of 82 cases of senile patients after PCI for coronary heart disease were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group,41 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with PCI at selected time. After operation, the control groupwasroutinely given aspirin, clopidogrel and rosuvastatin for anticoagulant and lipid- lowering treatment, and the treatment group was additionally treated withheartprotecting musk pills. The changes of vascular cell adhesion molecule-1(VCAM-1),intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and hemodynamic indexes including the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and fibrinogen before and after treatment, and the total clinical effect in the two groups were observed and compared. Results: The total effective rate was 92.7% in the treatment group and 78.0% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of VCAM- 1, ICAM- 1 and hs- CRP in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the above levels in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of the whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity and fibrinogen in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the above levels in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Based on routine western medicine treatment, the additional application ofheart- protecting musk pills has significant curative effect in treating senile patients with coronary heart disease after PCI,which can effectively improve the postoperative inflammatory reactions and the hemodynamic state of patients, and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
