Abstract:Objective:To discuss the curative effect of compound Banmao capsules assisting chemotherapy for advanced non-small cell lung cancer in senile patients and its effect on levels of survivin and thymidine kinase 1 in serum. Methods:A total of 60 cases of senile patients with advanced non- small cell lung cancer were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,30 cases in each group. The control group was routinely given TP regimen, and the observation group was additionally treated with compound Banmao capsules based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for six weeks. The clinical effect, the changes of T- lymphocyte subsets and the levels of survivin and thymidine kinase 1 in serum in the two groups were compared. Results:The recent total effective rate was 66.67% in the observation group, significantly higher than that of 43.33% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, CD3 + and CD3 +/CD4 + in the observation group were significantly increased, and were significantly higher than those in the control group;CD3+/CD8+ was significantly decreased, and was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01). Before and after treatment, compared CD3+,CD3+/CD4+ and CD3+/CD8+,there was no significant difference being found in the control group(P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of survivin and thymidine kinase 1 in serum in the two groups were decreased(P<0.01); the above levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.01). Conclusion:Compound Banmao capsules assisting chemotherapy can improve immune function and clinical effect in senile patients with advanced non-small cell lung cancer, and inhibit the levels of survivin and thymidine kinase 1 in serum.
