Abstract:Objective:To observe the improvement effect of auricular plaster therapy combined with electroacupuncture for patients' tolerance to gastroscopy. Methods:A total of 100 cases of outpatients and inpatients undergoing gastroscopy were selected and divided into Group A and Group B randomly,50 cases in each group. Group A was treated with auricular plaster therapy combined with electroacupuncture, and Group B was treated with auricular point pasting with beans. The tolerances to gastroscopy in the two groups were compared. Results: After intervention, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) scores in the two groups were higher than those before intervention, and the VAS score in Group A was lower than that in Group B,the difference being significant(P<0.05). The cases of VAS scores higher than or equal to 6 points in Group A were significantly less than those in Group B(P<0.05). The total effective rate was 94.0% in Group A,significantly higher than that of 80.0% in Group B(P<0.05). There was significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P<0.05). Conclusion: The treatment of auricular plaster therapy combined with electroacupuncture can improve patients' tolerance to gastroscopy and ensure the smooth opration of the examination.
