Abstract：Objective：To observe the improvement effect of auricular plaster therapy combined with electroacupuncture for patients' tolerance to gastroscopy. Methods：A total of 100 cases of outpatients and inpatients undergoing gastroscopy were selected and divided into Group A and Group B randomly，50 cases in each group. Group A was treated with auricular plaster therapy combined with electroacupuncture， and Group B was treated with auricular point pasting with beans. The tolerances to gastroscopy in the two groups were compared. Results： After intervention， the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) scores in the two groups were higher than those before intervention，and the VAS score in Group A was lower than that in Group B，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The cases of VAS scores higher than or equal to 6 points in Group A were significantly less than those in Group B(P＜0.05). The total effective rate was 94.0% in Group A，significantly higher than that of 80.0% in Group B(P＜0.05). There was significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The treatment of auricular plaster therapy combined with electroacupuncture can improve patients' tolerance to gastroscopy and ensure the smooth opration of the examination.
