Abstract:Objective:To observe the application effect of moxibustion, point massage and acupuncture combined with pain nursing for postpartum urinary retention. Methods:A total of 72 cases of puerperas with postpartum urinary retention were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,36 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given moxibustion, point massage and acupuncture combined with pain nursing. Both groups were treated for one week. The clinical effect, the recovery time of self-micturition,the hospitalization time and the pain scores of perineal incision in the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate was 97.22% in the observation group and 83.33% in the control group, the difference being significant (P<0.05). The recovery time of self-micturition and the hospitalization time in the observation group were both shorter than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). After nursing, the pain scores of perineal incision in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment, and the decrease in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of moxibustion, point massage and acupuncture combined with pain nursing has significant curative effect in puerperas with postpartum urinary retention.
