Abstract:Objective:To observe the application of problem-based learning(PBL) teaching method combined with clinical pathway teaching method in standardized training for gynecological resident physicians. Methods: Selected 80 cases of physicians who practiced department-rounding in gynecology during standardized training in the second affiliated hospital of Guangdong University of Chinese Medicine in Guangzhou Higher Education Mega Center from August 2018 to May 2019 as study subjects. Divided them into two groups randomly, 39 physicians in the experiment group and 41 physicians in the control group. In clinical practice, the experiment group adopted problem- based learning teaching method combined with clinical pathway teaching method, while the control group adopted the traditional teaching method. Evaluated the teaching effect via scores of mini-clinical examination(Mini-CEX),results of man-machine dialogue after-department tests and the degree of teacher-student satisfaction. Results:Compared with the control group, the comprehensive teaching effect in the experiment group was relatively better on the whole(P<0.05), and there was no significant difference being found inbetween different genders;the degree of teacher-student satisfaction was also higher(P<0.05);the average result of afterdepartment test was slightly higher, but there was no significant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion:In standardized- training teaching for gynecological resident physicians,PBL teaching method combined with clinical pathway teaching method was obviously better than traditional teaching method. It can standardize the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, improve the quality of clinical teaching, increase the learning interest of physicians during standardized training and enhance the practical ability in clinical work.
