Abstract:Objective:To discuss the molecular mechanism of “one prescription with multiple effects” in Sini powder by applying the method of network pharmacology. Methods: The prediction and screening of main active components and related targets of Sini powder were performed by Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP). The target protein interaction network was constructed by Search Tool for the Retrieval of Interacting Genes/Proteins(STRING); the enrichment and cluster analysis of biological process in Gene Ontology(GO) of target genes were performed by BiNGO and MCODE; the enrichment analysis of key targets in Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG)- based pathway was carried on by Database for Annotation, Visualization, and Integrated Discovery(DAVID). Results:A total of 121 kinds of active components were screened from Sini powder, which acted on 248 potential targets, participated in 54 main GO biological processes such as immune regulation of inflammation, material metabolism in vivo and signal transduction,as well as in 137 signal pathways such as cancer regulation, inflammation immunization and cell signal transduction. Conclusion:Sini powder has the clinical application value of "one prescription with multiple effects". It not only has good curative effect in the treatment of inflammatory- immune diseases, such as ulcerative colitis and rheumatoid arthritis, but also can effectively treat nervous system diseases, cancer, etc.
