Abstract : Objective : To observe the value of transperineal pelvic floor three-dimensional ultrasound in evaluating acupuncture and moxibustion for female with pelvic floor dysfunction. Methods:32 cases of female patients with pelvic floor dysfunction who received acupuncture and moxibustion were selected as the observation group, and another 32 cases who received health examination at the same period were selected as the control group. Both groups received transperineal pelvic floor three-dimensional ultrasound. Compared the changes in levels of each ultrasound index in both groups and the degree of pelvic floor dysfunction in the observation group before and after conducting acupuncture and moxibustion. Results:Compared with the control group, urethral tilt angle, the distance from cervix to lower margin of pubic symphysis and levator-urethra gap in the observation group before treatment were obviously smaller, and urethral rotation angle, posterior urethrovesical angle at resting state, and posterior urethrovesical angle, descending distance of bladder neck, descending distance of cervix and levator hiatus size during Valsalva maneuver were significantly larger, differences being significant(P<0.05). There was significant difference being found when comparing Indexes of ultrasonic examination and the incidence of mild, moderate, and severe pelvic floor organ prolapse in the observation group before and after treatment, difference being significant(P < 0.05). Conclusion : Transperineal pelvic floor three-dimensional ultrasonography has good value in evaluating acupuncture and moxibustion for female with pelvic floor dysfunction, which can directly reflect the degree of prolapse in pelvic floor organ before and after treatment, and clearly describe the change of pelvic floor function.
