Effect of Anticancer Therapy and Nursing with Characteristics of Chinese Medicine on Gastrointestinal Function and Immune Function of Postoperative Patients with Colon Cancer
Abstract: Objective: To study the clinical effect of anticancer therapy and nursing intervention with characteristics of Chinese medicine of postoperative patients with colon cancer. Methods: Divided 80 cases of postoperative patients with colon cancer into the observation group and the control group according to random number table,40 cases in each group. The control group received routine therapy and nursing, while the observation group additionally received anticancer therapy and nursing intervention with characteristics of Chinese medicine. Observed the recovery of gastrointestinal function, the indexes of cellular immunity, the indexes of humoral immunity and the levels of serum tumor markers in both groups before and after treatment, and evaluated the clinical effect. Results:The total effective rate was 92.50% in the observation group, higher than 77.50% in the control group(P<0.05). After operation, the recovery time of gurgling sound, the time of first exsufflation and the time of first defecation in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the proportions of CD3+ and CD4+ in peripheral blood and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ in both groups were higher than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the proportions of CD8 + were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05);the proportion of CD3+ and CD4+ in peripheral blood and the ratio of CD4+/CD8+ in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),and the proportion of CD8 + was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the indexes of immune globulin G(IgG), immune globulin A(IgA) and immune globulin M(IgM) in both groups were respectively higher than those before treatment(P<0.05), and each index above in the observation group was improved better than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of carbohydrate antigen 199(CA199) and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA) in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of CA199 and CEA in the observation group were decreased more significantly than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of anticancer therapy and nursing intervention with characteristics of Chinese medicine has good effect in treating postoperative patients with colon cancer, which can significantly improve gastrointestinal function and immune function, decrease the levels of serum CA199 and CEA,and inhibit the initiation and progression of tumor.
