Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Yangwei granules for chronic atrophic gastritis with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome. Methods：A total of 150 cases of patients with chronic atrophic gastritis were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method，75 cases in each group. Both groups were given quadruple therapy； the control group was given the oral administration of domperidone tablets；the observation group was additionally given the oral administration of Yangwei granules based on the treatment of the control group. The symptom scores of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome， the clinical effect， immune function and hemorheology indexes in the two groups were compared. Results：After treatment，each symptom score of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome in both groups was lower than that before treatment(P＜0.05)；each symptom score of spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). The total effective rate was 92.00% in the observation group， higher than that of 80.00% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of CD3+ and CD4+ in the observation group were significantly up-regulated，and higher than those in the control group；the levels of CD8+ were significantly down-regulated，and lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The levels of CD3+，CD4+ and CD8+ in the control group had no significant change before and after treatment(P＞0.05). After treatment， hemorheological indexes including plasma viscosity， whole blood viscosity and the levels of fibrinogen in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)； hemorheological indexes in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The application of Yangwei granules has significant curative effect in treating chronic atrophic gastritis with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome，which can improve immune function and hemorheological indexes of patients.
