Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Jin'gangteng capsules for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and the medication safety. Methods：A total of 84 cases of patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease were divided into the experiment group and the control group，42 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment，and the experiment group was additionally given Jin'gangteng capsules based on the treatment of the control group. The curative effect，the hospitalization time and the incidence of adverse reactions were analyzed statistically. Results：The total effective rate was 97.62% in the experiment group，higher than that of 80.95% in the control group，the difference being significant (P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 4.76% in the experiment group and 23.81% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The hospitalization time was (6.67±1.76) days in the experiment group and (9.67±2.67) days in the control group， the difference being significant(t=6.079 7， P=0.000 0＜0.05). Conclusion： The application of Jin'gangteng capsules for chronic pelvic inflammatory disease has significant improvement in the curative effect，which can shorten the hospitalization time of patients and reduce the adverse reactions during treatment.
