Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the release of shoulder joint under brachial plexus anesthesia for shoulder periarthritis. Methods: A total of 108 patients with shoulder periarthritis admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into the study group(treating with the release of shoulder joint under brachial plexus anesthesia) and the control group (treating with tuina),54 cases in each group. The function and degree of shoulder joint pain, the degree of external rotation and abduction of shoulder joint and the clinical effect in the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results: After treatment, the scores of shoulder joint function in both groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores of pain were decreased(P<0.05). After treatment, the score of shoulder joint function in the study group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the score of pain in the study group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). Compared with those before treatment, the degree of external rotation and abduction of shoulder joint were increased in both groups after treatment(P<0.05). The degree of external rotation and abduction of shoulder joint in the study group was larger than that in the control group(P<0.05). The total effective rate was 98.15% in the study group and 87.04% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion:The release of shoulder joint under brachial plexus anesthesia for shoulder periarthritis, can promote the recovery of shoulder joint function, relieve the degree of pain, and expand the scope of external rotation and abduction of shoulder joint.
