Abstract:Objective:To observe the application value of nursing based on syndrome differentiation for stroke in acute stage. Methods:A total of 100 cases of patients with stroke in acute stage were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, 50 cases in each group. Both groups received conventional therapy, the control group was given routine nursing intervention, and the observation group was additionally given nursing based on syndrome differentiation. The changes of the clinical effect,Chinese medicine syndrome scores as well as the scores of National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS),Fugl- Meyer Assessment(FMA) and Activity of Daily Living(ADL) in the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate was 90.00% in the observation group, higher than that of 70.00% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before intervention, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of Chinese medicine syndrome scores and NIHSS scores between the two groups(P>0.05). After intervention, Chinese medicine syndrome scores and NIHSS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before intervention, and the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). Before intervention, there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the scores of FMA and ADL between the two groups(P>0.05). After intervention, the scores of FMA and ADL in the two groups were increased when compared with those before intervention, and the above scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The theory of nursing based on syndrome differentiation can enhance the clinical effect and ADL of patients with stroke in acute stage, and improve the nerve function as well as the motor function.
