Abstract：Starting from the etiology，pathogenesis and treatment，the authors discussed the distension disease of five zang organs through the categories of heart distension，lung distension，spleen distension，liver distension，kidney distension and abdominal distention. The authors believed that the pathogenesis of distension disease is complicated，and the key to its treatment lies in seeking the root of the disease； a good physician should have an objective in mind and use syndrome differentiation and treatment when treating it.
