Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Lizhong tang combined with bifidobacterium tetravaccine tablets for patients with diarrhea- predominant gastrointestinal dysfunction. Methods： A total of 100 cases of patients with diarrheapredominant gastrointestinal dysfunction were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method，50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with bifidobacterium tetravaccine tablets，and the observation group was additionally treated with Lizhong tang based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effect in the two groups was evaluated. Before and after treatment， the changes of the indexes of immune function in serum as well as the levels of inflammatory factors in the two groups were detected. Results：The total effective rate was 98.00% in the observation group，higher than that of 86.00% in the control group，the difference being significant (P＜0.05). Before treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the levels of C- reactive protein(CRP) and interleukin-6(IL-6) in serum between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，the levels of CRP and IL-6 in serum in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment， and the above levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Before treatment， there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the levels of CD3 +，CD4 + and CD8 + between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，the levels of CD3+，CD4+ and CD8+ in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment， and the above levels in the observation group were higher than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Lizhong tang combined with bifidobacterium tetravaccine tablets has good clinical effect in treating patients with diarrhea-predominant gastrointestinal dysfunction，which can improve the immune function of patients，reduce the levels of inflammatory factors.
