Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of comprehensive nursing of Chinese medicine combined with routine nursing measures intervening severe autumn diarrhea in children. Methods： A total of 90 cases of children with severe autumn diarrhea were divided into the Chinese medicine nursing group and the routine nursing group according to the random number table method，45 cases in each group. Both groups were given routine symptomatic treatments and routine nursing， the Chinese medicine group was given comprehensive nursing of Chinese medicine including emotional nursing， point application and point massage. After intervention for seven days，the clinical effect in the two groups was compared，the remission time of diarrhea， defervescence time， antiemetic time， dehydration correction time and hospitalization time as well as the incidence of complications in the two groups were recorded，and the nursing satisfaction was evaluated through questionnaires filled by family members. Results：After treatment，the total effective rate in the Chinese medicine nursing group was higher than that in the routine nursing group(P＜0.05). The remission time of diarrhea， defervescence time， antiemetic time and dehydration correction time in the Chinese medicine nursing group were earlier than those in the routine nursing group， and the hospitalization time was shorter， differences being significant(P＜0.05). The incidence of complications in the Chinese medicine nursing group was lower than that in the routine nursing group(P＜0.05). The nursing satisfaction rate in the Chinese medicine nursing group was higher than that in the routine nursing group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The intervention of comprehensive nursing of Chinese medicine for children with severe autumn diarrhea is helpful to improve clinical nursing effect，promote the relief of symptoms，shorten the treatment time，reduce the incidence of complications and improve the nursing satisfaction of family members of children.
