Abstract： Objective： To discuss the correlation between Chinese medicine syndrome types of chest impediment and heart pain and changes in electrocardiogram. Methods：A total of 80 cases of patients with chest impediment and heart pain were selected as the study objects. According to the results of coronary angiography， 40 cases of patients with coronary heart disease were included in the study group，and the other 40 patients without coronary heart disease were enrolled in the control group. Both groups were given Chinese medicine syndrome type differentiation and electrocardiographic examination. The relation between Chinese medicine syndrome types and changes in electrocardiogram was analyzed. Results： In the study group，the ratios of abnormal Q wave，ST segment elevation，ST segment depression and T wave low level，T wave inversion，atrial fibrillation，left bundle branch block and right bundle branch block were all higher than those in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). By comparing the ECG manifestations of patients with different TCM syndromes，there was significant difference(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Variation laws of electrocardiogram vary among patients with different Chinese medicine syndrome types. The correlation between Chinese medicine syndrome types and changes in electrocardiogram can help evaluate severity in clinic.
